NATURAL ATTUNEMENT Attune yourself with nature: Clean and clear mind - When I enter natural places, I am free of all thoughts. There is no time – Schedules and time elude me when I am communing with nature. Slow down – I walk at a speed about ¼ of my normal speed. Sit Down – I sit down and just let nature express it’s self to me. Silence - I experience nature to the highest degree when I am silent. Be Child Like – I allow myself to look at things as a child would with an open mind and curiosity. Do not analyze – I never allow myself analyze nature when I am in the wilderness. Let go of our concerns – For the time that we are in the wild, we should just leave our work at the office and our bills at home. There are no names – To gain a better attunement with nature try not to name the things that we find or see because most of the time when we know the name something we usually do not try to explore it any deeper. Let go of opinions– I keep my thoughts free of and opinions about anything. All Things are New – I observe every thing as new, every tree, every bird, and every plant. Your heart is your Guide – Let our heart guide our adventure, we will be surprised where it will lead us. Be Spontaneous – I jump in the water or maybe I will wade through the swamp, craw on the ground and allow myself to live. Dive into Nature – I immerse myself in nature. I take off my shoes, roll up my pant legs, and experience the muck between my toes. Comfort – I am comfortable in every environment. Live life as if it was your last day – live every day as if you are going to die tomorrow and I promise that you will live the best life that you can. Learn from nature – I look at Nature as my classroom with all of its lessens being inexhaustible. Wilderness is everywhere – If I am in a wilderness, a park, or even my back yard I can always find nature. White Wolf
